2013 Official Sweepstakes Rules
1. TO ENTER:
(a) To participate in the sweepstakes, viewers must enter on-line at WeAreGreenBay.com. Viewers should click on the sweepstakes link for the Experience the Good Life from Allstate Locker Room Show VIP, and fill in all of the required information. All entries must have current information listed and all fields filled out to be considered an eligible entry. No purchase, quote, or payment of any kind necessary to enter or win. Allstate is the Sponsor of the Sweepstakes. WFRV is the Administrator of the Sweepstakes.
Weekly Drawing Sweepstakes:
Entries for each weekly sweepstakes must be received between 12:01AM Wednesday to 11:59PM time Tuesday, central time. Sweepstakes dates are September 3, 2013 to December 30, 2013. Sweepstakes end date will be extended pending Green Bay football 2013-2014 playoffs.
Grand Prize Drawing Sweepstakes: Entrant’s into the weekly sweepstakes will have the opportunity to opt-in to contacted to receive additional information from Allstate. Voters who opt-in will be automatically entered into the Grand Prize drawing at the end of the season for the Grand Prize
(b) Nexstar Broadcasting, Inc. is not responsible for any illegible, late, destroyed, misaddressed, incomplete, misdirected, lost, misplaced, postage due or stolen mail. Entries printed by machine, or otherwise mechanically reproduced are unacceptable. Sweepstakes Sponsors are not responsible for technical or computer failures, errors or data loss of any kind, lost or unavailable Internet connections, or failed, incomplete, garbled or deleted computer or network transmissions, inability to access any web site or on-line service, or any other error or malfunction, or late, lost, illegible or misdirected entries. Entry materials that have been tampered with or altered are void. If the Sweepstakes Sponsors determine, in their sole discretion, that there is any suspected or actual electronic tampering with the Sweepstakes or if technical difficulties compromise the integrity of the Sweepstakes, Sweepstakes Sponsors reserve the right to void the entries at issue and/or terminate the Sweepstakes and conduct a random drawing to award the prize among all eligible entries received as of the termination date. If the Sweepstakes is terminated due to tampering or technical difficulties prior to its expiration date, notice will be posted at WeAreGreenBay.com. If, for any reason, the Sweepstakes is not capable of running as planned, including infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other causes beyond the control of Sweepstakes Sponsors which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of the Sweepstakes, Sweepstakes Sponsors reserve the right at their sole discretion to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Sweepstakes. Sweepstakes Sponsors reserve the right to disqualify any entrant that tampers with the operation of the Sweepstakes or website or violates the Official Rules of the Sweepstakes. By use of this website and by entering the Sweepstakes, you agree to the Station’s Web Site Terms of Use Agreement and to the use of your personal information as described in the Privacy Policy found at wearegreenbay.com.
(c)Broadcasts are subject to preemption and scheduling changes. If such changes occur, they will be posted on the WeAreGreenBay.com website.
(d) Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received.
2. ELIGIBILITY :
(a)The Sweepstakes is open to Wisconsin residents who are at least 18 years , except for employees of WFRV/WJMN-TV, Nexstar Broadcasting, Inc., Allstate and its subsidiaries, Allstate Exclusive Agents and Allstate Exclusive Financial Specialists and their support staff, other radio or television stations and multichannel video programming distributors in Wisconsin or other participating promotional partners and their respective parents, affiliates, subsidiaries, or agencies and the immediate family members or persons living in the same household.
(b) Only one winner per household is permitted in any sweepstakes. (c)All entries become the sole property of Station and will not be returned. By entering, entrants agree to abide by these rules, and warrant and represent that their entry is their original work, and grant to Station the right to edit, publish, promote and otherwise use their entries without further permission, notice or compensation.
3. SELECTION OF WINNERS:
(a)Decisions of Sweepstakes Sponsors with respect to the sweepstakes are final. (b)One winner will be selected each Wednesday between September 11, 2013 through December 25, 2013 in a random drawing from those who entered during the previous week. Winners will be notified by Sweepstakes Sponsors by phone following the drawing. If a winner cannot be contacted within 2 days or is deemed ineligible for any reason, an alternate winner will be randomly selected from the remaining entries. Grand Prize Drawing will occur on or about January 10, 2014.
(c) Winners may be required to provide a valid Social Security Number and/or current government-issued photo identification reasonably acceptable to claim their prize.
(d) Prize must be redeemed in person on location the day of Locker Room Show, at Radisson Hotel 2040 Airport Dr, Green Bay, WI.
4. PRIZES
Weekly Prizes:
(a) Each week one (1) Winner will receive a VIP table for two at the Locker Room TV show, located at Purcell’s Lounge in the Radisson Hotel Green Bay. Table to be hosted by two Allstate agents/hosts. Includes opportunity for meet & greet with show hosts Burke Griffin and Ahman Green, and special guest of the week. A total of 17 prizes will be awarded. The Average Retail Value of the prize is zero as entry is at not cost but on a first come first serve basis.GRAND PRIZE: One (1) Autographed Packers Football helmet. The Average Retail Value of the Grand Prize is $500.00.
(b)Sweepstakes prizes are not transferable. Prizes may not be substituted for or redeemed for cash, no cash equivalents. Station reserves the right to substitute prize of comparable value.
5. CONDITIONS
Payment of all federal, state, and local taxes are the sole responsibility of the winner and winners may receive an IRS Form 1099 or equivalent from Sweepstakes Sponsors.
By participating in the sweepstakes, the winners agrees to have their name, voice, or likeness used in any advertising or broadcasting material relating to this sweepstakes, and to sign a publicity release, affidavit of eligibility and release of liability prior to acceptance of the prize. By accepting the prize, winners grant to Station the right to use the winner's name, voice, picture and/or likeness for purposes of advertising and publicity in any and all media now known or hereafter invented, without further permission or additional compensation (except where prohibited by law). All expenses on receipt and use of prize, and all federal, state and local taxes, are the sole responsibility of winners. Winners, by acceptance of their prizes, agree to release Station, Nexstar Broadcasting, Inc., their respective parents and subsidiaries, and their respective advertising, promotion and production agencies from any and all liability, claims or actions of any kind whatsoever for injuries, damages or losses to persons and property which may be sustained in connection with the receipt, ownership or use of the prize or while preparing for, participating in, and/or traveling to any prize-related activity.
6. Sweepstakes sponsors reserve the right to make changes in the rules of the sweepstakes, which will become effective upon announcement.
7. Release: Entrants, by participating, agree that Sponsor will have no liability whatsoever for, and shall be held harmless by entrants against, any and all liability, for any injuries, losses or damages of any kind, including death, to persons, or property resulting in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, from acceptance, possession, misuse or use of a prize or participation in this Promotion, or any travel/activity associated herewith, by receipt of any prize, winner agrees to release and hold harmless Promotion Entities from and against any and all claim or cause of action, including, but not limited to, personal injury, death, or damage to or loss of property, arising out of participation in the Promotion or receipt or use or misuse of any prize.
8. Publicity: Except where prohibited, participation in the Sweepstakes constitutes winners consent to Sponsor’s and its agents’ use of winner’s name, likeness, photograph, voice, opinions and/or hometown and state for promotional purposes in any media, worldwide, without further payment or consideration.
9. Disputes: Except where prohibited, entrant agrees that: (1) any and all disputes, claims and causes of action arising out of or connected with this Promotion or any prize awarded shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, and exclusively by the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois or the appropriate Illinois State Court located in Cook County, Illinois U.S.A.; (2) any and all claims, judgments and awards shall be limited to actual out-of-pocket costs incurred, including costs associated with entering this Promotion, but in no event attorneys’ fees; and (3) under no circumstances will entrant be permitted to obtain awards for, and entrant hereby waives all rights to claim, indirect, punitive, incidental and consequential damages and any other damages, other than for actual out-of-pocket expenses, and any and all rights to have damages multiplied or otherwise increased. All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of these Official Rules, or the rights and obligations of the winner and Sponsor in connection with the Promotion, shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of the State of Illinois, without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of law rules (whether of the State of Illinois or any other jurisdiction), which would cause the application of the laws of any jurisdiction other than the State of Illinois.
